Burglary Awareness Tips

Attention Homeowner's,

It has been reported that recent burglaries are occurring in the City of Pembroke Pines and nearby communities.  They are some precautions as homeowner's that you can take.  Please take a look at the below suggestions which could be helpful:

1. Try to install an alarm monitoring system and install a sign or sticker's advertising that your townhome is being monitored.
2. Make sure your rear sliding glass door has additional interior lock devices.
3. Place a locking device on the inside of your wooden fence.
4. Keep an exterior light on outside the front door and back area during the night hours.
5. Keep all doors locked when at home.
6. If you are going on vacation, please have a nearby family member or neighbor check on your house daily.

The Board of Directors has requested a member of the Pembroke Pines Police Department to attend the November 16th meeting to provide some crime prevention tips.  For more information about crimes occurring in your or other neighborhoods, please go to:
